The final of the League of Clubs Catalan Circuit Road Duathlon held on Saturday April 16, 2011 in Sant Guim de Freixenet (La Segarra), where Swimming Club Sitges managed to finish the championship in 2nd position achieving promotion to first division also in this mode.
As expected the competition was marked by the run since he was a circuit of 2.8 km with an initial drop where 220 participants ran with ease, but then came a stretch where the rate rise changed significantly and legs accused the effort of the first meters. To complete the first segment of the race had to make two turns, then the bike was a 21km circuit with a single round and the final race consisted of a single lap of 2.8 km.
The Sitges 12 of which were: Oliver Gomez, Victor Pacheco, Andrea Tufarelli, Carlos Catalan, Carlos Diez, Josep Camprubí, David Curtis, Manu Aller, Joaquin Pujalte, Carlos Fernandez, Desiree Vidal Comas and Nico Saenz that "have given their all" to the final round of the circuit and the rise is a great reward for the effort made in this discipline throughout the season.
